Campana Jazz Festival
February 11, 2023
Amador Valley High School
Pleasanton, CA
Welcome to the 47th Annual Campana Jazz Festival
A special thank you to each of the participating schools and directors joining us today in support of jazz education. This festival is a celebration of jazz, paying tribute to both the art form and to the man responsible for a longstanding history of musical excellence at Amador Valley High School – Mr. Jim Campana. Jim was the Director at Amador for 20 years, during which time the music program flourished, his jazz bands were among the finest, and this long-standing festival began.
Today we are joined by more than 50 ensembles from 30+ schools, performing in 6 divisions:
High School AA, A, B Big Bands
Middle School Big Band
High School Combo
